01Arrive in Tripoli

A first glimpse of the capital

Arrive in Tripoli, complete airport formalities and meet the local team for your private transfer to the hotel. The drive into the city offers your first introduction to everyday life in Libya’s capital.

02Tripoli → Sabratha → Tripoli

Roman theatre by the Mediterranean

Travel west to Sabratha for a guided visit of the archaeological site, known for its monumental theatre, temples, mausoleums and coastal setting. The day may also include a museum or city stop in Tripoli, subject to local access, before returning to the capital.

03Tripoli → Gharyan → Tripoli

Homes carved into the Jabal Nafusa landscape

Drive south to Gharyan and explore the area’s traditional troglodyte dwellings—underground homes that were once used by local families. After time to learn about the architecture and landscape, return to Tripoli.

04Leptis Magna

A full day in one of Libya’s great Roman cities

Spend the day exploring Leptis Magna. Walk through monumental streets and public spaces, with highlights that may include the Severan Arch, forum, theatre, amphitheatre, baths, harbour areas and museum, depending on access on the day.

05Tripoli → Benghazi

From the western capital to eastern Libya

Spend part of the day discovering Tripoli’s historic centre, souqs and landmarks before transferring to the airport for the domestic flight to Benghazi. On arrival, meet the local team and transfer to your hotel.

06Benghazi → Sousa / Al Bayda

Along the eastern coast

Explore selected parts of Benghazi, with time for the old city and local markets depending on the day’s programme. Continue east along the coast toward Sousa and the Jabal Akhdar region, then settle in for the night near Al Bayda.

07Cyrene & Apollonia

Greek foundations and Mediterranean views

Visit Cyrene, one of Libya’s most important ancient Greek cities, with its sanctuary areas and monumental remains. Continue to Apollonia, the ancient port of Cyrene, where the theatre, baths, churches and Byzantine remains sit close to the Mediterranean.

08Qasr Libya → Ptolemais → Benghazi → Tripoli

Mosaics, Pentapolis and the flight west

Travel through the Jabal Akhdar toward Qasr Libya, known for its mosaic collection, then continue to Ptolemais to explore remains from the ancient Pentapolis. Later, return toward Benghazi for the flight to Tripoli and transfer to your hotel.
